Dave Legeno Interview

In the show Lara Lewington is joined by cage-fighting, hardman actor, wrestling, rock musician and MacBeth enthusiast, Dave Legeno.

In Part 1, Lara talks to Dave about his past, which includes being shot at (!) and just a bit of ‘skullduggery’, his exploits leading him to London, whereupon he sauntered between the worlds of wrestling, boxing and cage fighting whilst struggling to pursue his desire of acting. We discover what drew him to cage fighting and also how he’s recorded a rock album, but will he perform for Lara on the couch?

In Part 2, Dave tells us about his latest project starring alongside Craig Charles (Red Dwarf), John Thomson (Cold Feet) and Dave Courtney in soon to be released film ‘The Dealer’. Talking of Dave Courtney, it transpires they were old flatmates – living life rather like the Odd Couple! We then hear about his performance in Guy Ritchie’s celebrated film, ‘Snatch’.

In Part 3, Dave reveals some of his other forthcoming film projects Which feature the likes of Mickey Rourke and Ewan McGregor. Lara then finds out how Dave’s music career is going and we also hear about some cage-fighting shenanigans coming up at Wembley. Man-muscle- mountain Dave then takes on the awesome strength of Chatshow’s Cheesy Dips.
