DEEP Secretariat announced their 12/9 Club DEEP Tokyo card today. The card will be held at the Shinjuku FACE arena in Tokyo and will feature multiple feature fights as well as the Future King Tournament. The card will be split between a part I consisting of the Future King bouts and a sequel containing the feature bouts.
DEEP revealed that the number of applicants for their Future King tournament exceeded their expectations and so closed the application process today. The largest number of applicants were to be found in the Middleweight (-82KG) and Welterweight (-76KG) divisions, with Lightweight and Featherweight boasting good numbers as well.
The Club DEEP Future King bouts will last one five minute round until semifinals, which are to be held on DEEP's '27th Impact' show on December 27th. Regular DEEP rules bouts will abound as well, with DEEP regulars such as Yutaro Miyamoto and 'Muscle' Hiranuma appearing.
